Top 10 Favourite Countries

There are 197 recognised countries in our planet, so this list really is a tough one. As I have only visited 40 of them, it will make it a bit easier to do. I will be ranking countries regarding not only the experience I had but also the ease of travel of each one and their culture.

We need to take into account that I am a nature lover, reason why the majority of countries on my list will have in some way or another nature as one of their main attractions. Also, I lived in some of them, meaning that I probably had more time to explore deeper. Still, I’m sure that they are on many other people’s list, so here you have:

My Top 10 favourite countries

1. New Zealand

New Zealand is a country that almost everywhere you go seems to have been taken from a painting. The country as a whole is stunning, but especially the south island is just incredible. Colourful mountains, pristine lakes, relaxing landscapes, vibrant cities. I could go on giving you reasons to go but until you visit it by yourself you won’t agree with me.

2. Nepal

It was on the top of my list until I wen to New Zealand, but I can assure you that they are very close. Nepal is another country you need to visit if you like being lost in nature. If having 8 out of the 10 highest mountains in the world is not a reason for you to go, then I don’t know what it could be. Besides, cities are culturally impressive and they have a very tasty food.

3. Australia

There are many reasons why Australia deserves a spot in the podium. One of them is on the picture below, Whitehaven Beach, ranked as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are many other beautiful beaches in Australia, but it also has National Parks, full of life cities, unique fauna.. Many reasons to never skip this country.

4. Japan

Although Japan has a lot of nature, it might not be the main reason why people go there. One of the reasons is how advanced in technology is. Cities like Tokyo are incredibly mesmerising while you walk on the streets. Others like Kyoto is all about culture. One thing is for certain, wherever you go in Japan you will love it, so definitely deserves a spot in this list.

5. Spain

Spain

6. Vietnam

Small, yet plenty of things to see. It’s a perfect country to visit from south to north or vice versa. Places like Ha Long Bay or Ke Bang National Park are astonishing, but also the stories from the Vietnam War or the food, making it a must-go country to go at least once in your life.

7. Cambodia

Cambodia

8. Norway

Norway

9. Taiwan

I had the pleasure to live here for 2 years, so I could visit almost the whole country, and I can tell you that Taiwan is very underrated. Not many people travel around Taiwan and I think

10. Italy

Italy
